The inaugural day of the new academic year 2024-25 commenced with a Eucharist celebration on 15th June 2024 with the theme ‘Go and proclaim for a promising future’. The Eucharistic Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Christopher, Rev. Fr. Joseph and Rev. Fr. Alex John D’Souza.
Fr. Joseph in his homily urged the life of holiness following the example of Carlo Acutis- a teenager of modern times who was noted for his cheerfulness, computer skills and devotion to the Eucharist.
Principal Mrs. Melba Vas expressed her gratitude towards all the Eucharist celebrants and Mass incharge Teachers.
The inaugural day was a remarkable event marked by enthusiasm, unity and a strong sense of purpose among students and staff.
The Principal welcomed the Std XI students to an Academic journey filled with new opportunities, challenges, growth and experiences. She assured them with a support system that would help them to navigate through the ups and downs to become the best versions of themselves. They would build skills and character. She also prepared them for the next steps of embarking on a great journey not only academically but also mentally, emotionally and spiritually. She reminded them that all of them have great potential and we as a team would help them see possibilities and together would create an environment that fosters learning, growth and success.
The staff were introduced to the students with brief presentation on their academic background and areas of expertise.
The day also marked the birthday celebration of the Manager Rev. Fr. Alex John D’Souza emphasizing the importance of his perseverance, hard work and the pursuit of excellence. The Principal and staff expressed their heartfelt birthday wishes appreciating our Manger’s support and dedication. A series of cultural performances followed showcasing the diverse talents of the students, in art, songs and dances.
The day ended on a high note with a sense of excitement and positivity for the year ahead. Also wishing our Manager good health and happiness always inspiring us with integrity.
The event was compered by Tr. Luella Dias e Mascarenhas and Tr. Steffie Baretto proposed the vote of thanks.
