We are delighted to welcome you to Mount Mary’s Higher Secondary School. As the Principal of this school, I look forward to another year of learning, growth and discovery. We focus on Holistic Education which is an amalgamation of Physical, Mental, Emotional, Social, and Spiritual growth where the students will have the opportunity to discover who they are, find their purpose in life and move forward towards achieving the desired outcomes. Recognition Day 2025

Children’s Day Celebration 2025

The Marian family celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November at Mount Mary’s Higher Secondary School with great joy and enthusiasm. A special programme was organised in the school hall, beginning with a prayer service. This was followed by a lively fusion dance by the teachers, an English comedy skit that filled the hall with laughter, and a creative kitchen band performance. A teacher also sang a melodious song for the students. The children then enjoyed a dance session, with music played by a student DJ. After the programme, students were taken to their classrooms, where snacks were distributed and games were conducted. Prizes were given to the winners, and the students were later sent home happily.

Inter-Higher Secondary Folk Dance Competition 2025

Marian pride was on full display as Mount Mary’s Higher Secondary, Chinchinim, hosted the Inter-Higher Secondary Folk Dance Competition. Principal Madam Melba Vas welcomed the gathering and declared the event open. Judges Ms. Alosha Fernandes, Mr. Prashant Rao, and Ms. Sia Devidas witnessed twelve teams present dazzling folk dances from Garba to Bihu and Kunbi. Memorable performances by Ms. Devidas and Ms. Fernandes concluded the event on a joyous celebratory note.

Coastal Cleanliness Drive

The NSS unit of Mount Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Chinchinim participated in the International Coastal Cleanliness drive at Varca beach on 20th September 2025. The theme of International Coastal Cleanup Day was “Clean and Pollution Free Beaches. NSS volunteers along with Principal and Programme officers actively took part in the cleanliness drive by collecting all plastic and other waste and contributed their efforts in the good deed. The event aimed to promote cleanliness and reduce marine pollution.

Inter-Class Football Tournament 2025

The Inter-Class Football Tournament 2025, held from July 26–30, brought together 14 spirited teams in an exciting showcase of talent and teamwork. The grand finale featured a gripping clash between 12th CRM A and 12th CRM B, keeping the crowd enthralled. A special halftime penalty shootout for the MTS added to the thrill. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony graced by Principal Melba Vas and Fr. Joiver, whose encouraging presence inspired participants. The tournament truly reflected sportsmanship, competition, and camaraderie.
