“Indian folk dance is a rhythmic echo of the country’s cultural heartbeat.
Mount Mary’s Higher Secondary School Chinchinim organized it’s Annual Inter Higher Secondary Folk dance competition on 29th August 2024 which saw an enthusiastic participation of 15 teams.
The event commenced with the comperes Tr. Desiree Pires and Sir. Ozie Da Costa extending a warm welcome to the audience and participants. The esteemed judges Ms. Shammie Rasaikar, Mr. Chinmay Borkar and Ms Astha Devidas were escorted with the beats of the traditional musical instruments, adding a touch of cultural grandeur to the proceedings. The
lighting of the lamp by the judges and Principal set the auspicious tone to the event.

P.T.A. Annual General Body Meeting
The PTA annual general body meeting was held on the 29th of June 2024. The meeting commenced with a prayer service by Tr. Steffi, Tr. Aida and the team. Sir. Jack and Tr. Pearl the comperes for the day welcomed the gathering and the dignitaries on the dais. The minutes of the previous meeting were read by Tr. Sadikha.

Republic day Celebration
The Constitution is the back bone of our democracy.
And hence we at Mount Mary’s HSS celebrated our 75th Republic Day with much pride on 26th January, 2024.
The day began with the unfurling of the tricolour by our Chief Guest for the day, Rev. Fr. Milchester Paul Furtado, the Head Master of St. Anthony High School, Monte de Guirim, along with our Manager Rev. Fr. Alex John D’Souza and Principal Melba Vas. Everyone then saluted the flag and joined in singing the National Anthem.
