The Theme for the Valedictory Function, “Inspire, Create, Achieve and Lead” was highlighted on 17th March 2022, at Mount Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Chinchinim.

The Manager Rev. Fr Alex John D’souza in his address motivated the students to Believe in themselves, their dreams and goals whole heartedly, to overcome any obstacles in life.

Women Is a special creation of God. At Mount Mary’s HSS we celebrated the women’s day by having an special assembly for the students which was well lead by our Principal Mrs. Melba Vaz with a powerful motivational speech for the women. Taking the opportunity of the International Women’s Day the male staff of MMHSS organized a function to acknowledge the good work carried out  by the women in the school. The Manager Rev. Fr. Alex John Dsouza addressed the function with a lovely message to all the women followed by our Principal who who spoke on behalf of all the women. The  theme of the event was “Women of Tomorrow”.  

An All Goa Quiz Competition was organized by Cuncolim Educational Society Secondary School, Cuncolim on 5 March, 2022. The topics for the quiz covered the areas of Science, Maths, Social Science and General Knowledge.
10 teams from different HSS’s participated. Our students Mast. Rudresh Achari and Miss Venoshka Cradozo of class 11 Science cleared the preliminary round and were selected for the main round along with 3 other teams. Our students showcased their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions and bagged the second place.

A break is always required after a great deal of work. The Mount Mary’s H.S.S staff had a fellowship day on 27^th Feb 2022 at the “Natures hide out” in Chinchinim.  

Mount Mary’s higher secondary school had organized a virtual meet with the parents of std XI and XII Arts , Commerce ,science and Vocational (C.R.M.) on 17^th February 2022.

The meet was held in two sessions. first session was for parents of Std. XIth  and second session was for parents of Std XIIth.

Tr. Sanya Furtado welcomed the parents .the meeting began with a prayer service, followed by welcome address by Tr. Jennifer Naik.
