Our heartiest congratulations to the 12th Commerce A Class. Winners of the inter class football match for the year, 2022-2023. A pat on the back to the physical education Teacher Johnston Ribeiro for focusing on skills and character to achieve success. Our outcome to promoting sports in our institution is to build the sportsmanship Spirit. We train our students to accept success and defeat with humility, this builds their self-worth.
Boys football Inter class Tournament of Mount Mary’s Higher Secondary School commenced on the 9th July 2022. A total of 21 teams participated. The finals were held on 14th July, 2022.
The day began with a Exhibition match between the girls A and B Teams
The girls B team won 2- 0
In an exciting finals, the 12th Com A class got the better of 12th CRM , via tie breaker deep into the sudden death , after both the teams were held at a goalless draw.
Fr .Alex D Souza was the Chief Guest for the match, Principal Melba Vas was the guest of honour and Fr Christopher and Fr Josheph were special invitees for the finals.
The Highest scorer of the tournament was master Nosh from Std 12th Com A, who scored 6 goals.
The runners up (XII CRM) and the winners (XII COM A) were given trophies and medals.
