 Mount Mary’s Higher Secondary School Chinchinim, celebrated the festival of Sao Joao on 24th June 2023 with the Kopel Making Competition with great excitement.

The feast of Sao Joao is a celebration of the birth anniversary of Saint John the Baptist. It is a wonderful celebration of tradition and beliefs and marks the first festival of the School, with a desire to spread unity and communal harmony by celebrating all Festivals.

Mount Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Chinchinim, held its inaugural mass on June 15^th, 2023 at 8.45 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Church, Chinchinim to invoke God’s blessings on the Management, the staff and the students of the higher secondary for the new academic year 2023-24.

The mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Alex John D’Souza. Special prayers were raised for the Manager of the Higher Secondary, Fr. Alex D’Souza who celebrated his Birthday on 11^th of June. It was followed by a fellowship gathering of the staff, Asst. Priests, PTA members & student representatives in the school premises.

Mount Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Chinchinim, organised a Janbhagidari event on June 14^th, 2023 at 8.30 a.m. in the School Hall for the Parents of Std XII Students.

The day began by according a warm welcome to the parents, followed by the formal welcome of the resource persons.

The first resource person Ms. Luella Dias e Mascarenhas spoke on the topic ‘New Education Policy (NEP)’ in which she informed parents about the various changes that the NEP will bring about in the education system.
