A Value Added Workshop initiated to ‘Inspire, Ignite, Integrate’ Teachers, was organized by the PTA and Management of Mount Mary’s Higher Secondary School Chinchinim on 13th August 2024.
The program began with the lighting of the lamp. The Principal Madam Melba Vas welcomed the gathering and urged the teachers to explore value added strategies in their teaching learning outcomes.
The resource person, Dr. Jorson Fernandes spoke on the topic ‘Motivation, the key to behavioural change’. He stated that it was essential to address the need of an individual to get any desired change. He even highlighted the value of team work through collaborated activities.
The second resource person, Rev. Fr. Shannon Pereira gently led the staff on the topic, ‘Finding God Through Work’ to get in touch with their feelings and experience God at all times in their day-to-day life. He explained that if feelings originate having the good of the other at heart, all feelings are justified and good. An energetic activity was conducted to stimulate creativity and connection among all gathered. He also urged the necessity and benefits of a daily examen of consciousness outlined by St. Ignatius of Loyola.
The Value Added Workshop was an enriching experience for teachers providing a platform for reflection and growth with renewed Motivation and Virtuousness.
