Farewell Wishes to the XII students

May the road rise up to meet you,
the wind be ever at your back
May the sunshine warm you, and
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

Such were our wishes for the students of Std XII on the day when we bid them farewell on 30th January, 2024 at Mount Mary’s Higher Secondary School. The day began with the Eucharistic celebration based on the theme, ‘As you go forth, let your light shine.’ Rev Fr. Mansueto Fernandes was the main celebrant and Rev. Fr. Alex John D’Souza was the con celebrant.
The mass was followed by the blessing of the Higher Secondary’s newly renovated hall by the Manager, Fr. Alex D’Souza. The students were then ushered in and the teachers welcomed them with a melodious heart-warming song. Students of Std. XI sang some beautiful songs and the girls set the stage on fire when they danced to the tune of popular Bollywood songs.
A student representative from each stream went down memory lane reminiscing the wonderful memories of the two years spent with classmates and teachers And. after listening to some good advice from our Manager, Rev. Fr. Alex and Principal, Melba, it was time for some fun. Games were conducted, in which the students participated with great enthusiasm. And with that, the wonderful day came to a close.
